Executive Coaching in Jordan

Executive coaching in Jordan with me is online, in Arabic or English, for leaders in Amman and across the country, including those running regional roles from Jordan. I coach one to one and with leadership teams on presence, decisions, growth and transitions. Jordan keeps the same time as Bahrain all year, so sessions are easy to schedule, and every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call.

Jordan is not part of the GCC, but its leaders are closely tied to the Gulf: regional offices in Amman serve markets across the Levant and beyond, and many careers move between Jordan and Gulf cities.

Coaching from Bahrain works naturally across that border. Here is how it works, and the Jordanian context we bring into it.

Coaching across the border: how online sessions work from Amman

All one-to-one coaching for leaders in Jordan takes place online, on video, from your office or home. Since Jordan moved to permanent UTC+3 in 2022, Amman and Manama share the same time throughout the year, with no seasonal clock change to manage.

Both countries also work a Sunday to Thursday week, so a session time agreed once tends to hold. In-person work in Jordan, such as a leadership team offsite, can be discussed by arrangement. For the trade-offs between formats, see online versus in-person coaching.

The Economic Modernisation Vision raises expectations of leaders

Jordan's Economic Modernisation Vision, launched in 2022, sets out a ten-year plan for private-sector-led growth and job creation, alongside a parallel programme to modernise the public sector. Both put leadership quality under a brighter light.

In practice, leaders in ministries are asked to work in more performance-focused ways, and private-sector leaders are asked to grow, export and hire. Coaching helps you separate what is genuinely yours to change from what is not, and to lead your team through it without burning out.

Running a regional role from Jordan

Many regional and international organisations run offices in Amman that cover several countries. A regional role brings its own pressures: teams you rarely see, stakeholders in different capitals, frequent travel and a matrix of reporting lines.

We work on how you lead people you cannot see every day, how you keep authority across borders, and how you manage your own energy across a travelling week. Regional leaders also tend to sit between a head office that sets targets and country teams that know their markets best. Coaching helps you hold that middle position with confidence, so you can push back upwards when a target ignores local reality and still ask country teams for more. Leading in a matrix organisation covers the structural side of that challenge.

Founders and leaders in Jordan's technology and start-up scene

Amman has an established technology and start-up community, and founders there often scale from a handful of people to a real organisation within a few years. The founder who did everything must learn to delegate, hire senior people and stop being the bottleneck.

That shift is as much about identity as skill. Executive coaching for founders explains how coaching supports it, from letting go of control to building a leadership team that can run without you in every room.

Moving to the Gulf, or coming home from it

Careers between Jordan and the Gulf states are common, and each move is a transition: a new organisation, a different pace, different expectations of hierarchy, and family decisions alongside the professional ones.

Imagine a finance director weighing a Gulf offer against a promotion in Amman. The numbers are only part of the decision. Coaching helps you surface what you actually want, so the choice is yours rather than the default. Career transition coaching covers this in depth.

Calendar and language: practical notes for Jordan

  • Holidays. We plan around Independence Day on 25 May and the Eid holidays.
  • Ramadan. Public-sector hours are shortened during Ramadan, and we move sessions to suit your fasting day or pause briefly.
  • Language. Sessions run in Arabic, English or both. We use whichever helps you say exactly what you mean.
  • Rhythm. Weekly or every two weeks, with a small practice step between sessions.

The experience I bring to leaders in Jordan

I spent more than 26 years in leadership, HR and talent development, inside multinational organisations and in private practice, across financial services, FMCG, entrepreneurship and government. I hold the ICF PCC credential, have more than 4,500 coaching hours, and am certified in executive, systemic and team coaching, NLP and Positive Intelligence.

I ask questions; the answers remain yours. I ask questions until your own thinking is clear, because that is what stays with you after the coaching ends.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with leaders in Jordan even though you are based in Bahrain?

Yes. Coaching is online, and Amman and Manama share the same time zone all year. Being outside your local professional network can also make it easier to speak freely.

Can a leadership team in Amman work with you?

Yes. Team coaching can run virtually, and in-person sessions in Jordan can be discussed by arrangement. Each programme is tailored and can include assessments, facilitated sessions, workshops and follow-up coaching.

What happens on the discovery call?

We spend 30 minutes on what is happening for you and what you want to change. I explain how I work and we decide together whether coaching fits. What a coaching discovery call involves gives more detail.

Is what I say in coaching confidential?

Yes. What you share stays between us. If your organisation pays for the coaching, we agree at the start what is reported to them, usually goals and broad progress only.

Wherever your career takes you, the growth begins within.
